PLEASE READ: The size of the bowl matters! If using a small, deep bowl/dish, cook it on BAKE mode for 160C for 15-20 mins or until there's no more liquid. The smaller and deeper the bowl the more time it needs to cook! If using a shallow, big dish then 180C for 16 mins should be spot on, but if not keep cooking it until a toothpick comes out clean. Prep in advance - Let it cool completely before refrigerating it in an airtight container then microwave it when you’re ready to eat it for around 60-90 secs

I was making this for 4 and didn’t have individual bowls so made all four in a large dish. It didn’t turn out quite like I was hoping and took much longer to evenly cook leaving some parts very dry. I added chopped strawberries, as some aren’t keen on blueberries, and dark choc chips. The chips seemed to sink so maybe next time I’d add once in dish. Overall I think a good easy pancake option but if substituting or changing anything you may need to trial and error to get it right x

Made this yesterday and popped in the microwave this morning and it was delicious 😋. I'll definitely be playing with the recipe to try different variations. I think raspberries would work well so might try those next week.

this has also become one of the reason i get up earlier to make it!! i cheat and use Quaker Oats protein sachets and blitz that up and add the other ingredients. also agree using the Bake setting on the Ninja is the winner here

Do you replace the flour with the oats or just add the oats as well as everything else? Thanks

Heya, I just tried it but the top is perfect and it’s all liquid at the bottom. Is there anyway round this?

Hey Harriet, mine sometimes does that when I use a smaller, deeper dish! If that's the case it needs cooking for longer and a lower temperature! Try 160C for 15-18 mins next time if using the same dish! Others have tried it on bake mode (if you have that option on your air fryer) and says it works amazing! I'm yet to try it 🥰

Hey Liz I haven’t tried it without protein powder but I’ve been told others who have swapped it for more flour and it worked!

So so good; I must’ve made this 100 times by now! Have never added sweetener and not missed it. Couldn't cope with the scrubbing so switched to paper cases - works great with the “bake” setting on Ninja. Currently using cinnamon vanilla swirl protein with either a drizzle of lemon curd or caramel sauce 🤤

Hi Ruth did you still cook it on 180 in the air fryer or lower temp, think this could be breakfast tomorrow.
