It says to add tomato puree but it's not on the list of ingredients so not sure how much Also would be handy to say if it's 1 onion or 1/2 an onion rather than the weight

Thanks, Claire, for spotting that! Use 1 tablespoon of tomato puree. I have to use the weight so it calculates properly for the shopping list function 😊 80g is around half an onion, 160g is 1 onion if that helps but I usually just use 80g in any recipes that serves 2!

I usually add a tea spoon of granulated sweetner to heavy based tomato dishes like this. I don’t like the bitterness of chopped tomato’s and the sweetner helps! X

Thanks so much, Holly! 😊 Glad to hear your family enjoyed it! You could try reducing the chopped tomatoes, cooking it out for longer or adding a touch more Philadelphia to balance it out x

Hiya, Can I just ask if cooking for 4 people will I really need 48 meatballs?

Hiya Kirsti! Don’t be put off by the quantity — they’re very small mini meatballs, and the whole pack only weighs 240g. If you’re looking to keep the protein at around 40g, I’d recommend doubling up on the mini meatballs. If you’re not too worried about the protein or want to save a bit of money, you can just use one pack of 24 mini meatballs and serve it with some garlic bread to make the meal go a bit further. If you’re buying regular-sized meatballs instead (for example, a 12-pack weighing around 300g), just make sure they’re 5% fat and split them between 3 people — so around 4 meatballs each. Hope that helps! 😊
