Step 1
Mix all the sauce ingredients together and set aside.
Step 2
Tenderise the steak then slice into thin strips then marinade with 2 tsp soy sauce.
Step 3
Dip the steak strips into the cornflour, spray with oil and air fry on 200C for 13-15 mins or until crispy. Alternatively oven cook on a lined baking tray on 200C for 20 minutes.
Step 4
In the meantime add the onions and sliced peppers to a pan sprayed with oil and soften for a few minutes.
Step 5
Mix in the soft egg noodles and add a dash of water to help loosen the noodles. NOTE - If you using dry noodles - soak them in boiling water to pre-cook before adding to the pan. If using the fresh noodles - add them directly to the pan without a splash of water
Step 6
Move everything to one side and pour the sauce on the empty side, cranking the heat up high until the sauce starts to bubble.
Step 7
Add the crispy beef pieces and coat them well in the sauce then mix everything together, coating the noodles with any leftover sauce.
Step 8
Serve with the spring onions, chilli flakes and optional red chilli's.

Crispy beef is my favourite when I order from the take away, this is a fabulous replacement. Absolutely gorgeous, but I'll remember to add the spring onions next time
