Step 1

Marinade the chicken in 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp Chinese five spice and a pinch of salt & pepper.

Step 2

Dip into the whisked egg or egg white, then the cornflour until well coated.

Step 3

Either place directly in the air fryer or in a silicone air fryer liner to stop it from sticking to your air fryer, then spray with oil.

Step 4

Air fry on 190C for 15 mins or until cooked, flipping half way through.

Step 5

In the meantime cook your skin on fries at the same time (if you've got a two-drawer air fryer) as per packet instructions.

Step 6

Grab a big wok or pan, spray with oil and start softening the diced veg for a couple of mins.

Step 7

Once the fries are cooked, add to the wok along with 1 tsp Chinese five spice, 1 tsp soy sauce and a pinch of sugar, then mix well.

Step 8

Serve with the crispy chicken, the Chinese curry sauce (make it up as per packet instructions) and if you fancy, a few prawn crackers!
