Crispy chilli beef fakeaway

Tooting my own horn here but this tastes BETTER than the real thing, half the calories and way more protein to keep you full and satisfied without piling on the pounds 👏 And yes, the calories include the egg fried rice!!

I really wish you put the sugars in each meal, feel like people would really benefit from seeing how much sugar is in each dish.

hey JJ - sugar isnt very highly requested as it seems to be protein, carbs and fat for macros. But I think it's a great shout adding sugar in, more info like that the better as I agree it's beneficial. Let me see what I can do :)

Think it's more my cooking skills why I was a bit disappointed in this one. It wasn't crispy because all the coating ended up on my air fryer took me ages to make too. And there was no chilli in the recipe I didn't realise until I plated up and seen the 'pairs with' section xx

Looks fantastic Hannah! My old air fryer used to do this, I think all the non-stick had come off so the cornflour batter would stick and it was SUCH a faff. Id recommend buying these ones, nothing sticks to them so far! xx

Hey Kim! I make different variations of it, sometimes I add chilli flakes to the sauce, sometimes I add sliced chilli's but recently with my toddler we have it without :) You can of course add some! x

Tried for the first time and was really nice. I realised afterwards though that I weighed out 150g of raw uncooked rice so there was a lot, oops!

Hey Amber! I usually buy this rump steak from M&S. But to be honest, buy any steak and just cut the fat off to make it lean if you need too!

Hi, recipe states 75g of cooked rice, is this 75g uncooked per person or approx 25g uncooked making it 75g cooked? I ask because I assumed the latter but this literally makes about 2 tbsp of rice😂.

Hey Marlene! 150g cooked rice for 2 people it's showing up for me on my side! Did you change the serving size for 1 person? Typically I cooked 50g uncooked rice per person, this seems like a little less rice than I usually use to make a bit more if you need to! ☺️

Super tasty. I used jasmine rice though which I don’t think I’d recommend cos it’s like rice pudding. Beef is 🤌🤌

Genuinely had to double take this as it looks like a takeaway!! 🤤 Thanks for letting us know about the jasmine rice! Long grain or basmati is my rice of choice or even micowave rice as it holds its shape!
